The standard IAAF limit is 9mm for most events, or 12mm for javelin and high jump. Both these limits may be lowered at each track/facility manager's discretion. In practice, tracks usually limit to 6mm on the track, and up to 9mm for javelin and high jump.
Not permitted at the Lee Valley Indoor Track but this is your standard spike for everywhere else.
